Girl power/ Au revoir Pignon
Hello everyone,
New rule for this week! I am going to write in english and shane will do the french translation... good practice I reckon.

First a photo of a new worker we've employed this week. She comes from egypte and is a brilliant belly dancer :)
*Voici notre nouveau charpentier venu direct d'Egypt.
So here we are. This week has been pretty full on as it has seen us working on the west wall til midnight twice. The goal as you already know is to get rid of it to make a nice opening for the coming extention. We were lucky enough to have our friend pierre ready to lend us his trailer to drop the rocks in. That was a difficult job, but for shane, it seemed like a peace of cake. Here she is in action:

This is basically were we are up to now. If you look carefully you'll see shane somwhere on this picture too.
*Tu vois Shane là-dedans?
It is hard to see but marcel, our landscaper came with his big machine to prepare the ground for the concrete slab. He'll have to come back to get rid of the rocks that are on the ground.
Hopefully this week, will see the begining of the concrete slab work for the extention and the belt will be put in place on top of the walls.
Gavin is coming really soon now and it will be quite an achievement for us to have everything ready for when he arrives.
by for now.
